Former British tennis player Greg Rusedski is confident Rafa Nadal will have big success at the Grand Slam level next year. The Spaniard went it all the way at the French and US Open this year. Prior to the 2017 season, Nadal was yet to make it all the way a Major since the 2014 French Open.
The 31-year-old now has 16 Grand Slam titles — the second most in tennis history. The great Roger Federer leads the way with 19 Majors claimed. Nadal, who also became world No. 1 for the first time since 2014, was hoping to finish his season with maiden Nitto ATP Finals title.
Nadal pulled out of the prestigious event after a loss suffered to rising David Goffin on Monday. The Spaniard decided to give a shot to London though he is bothered by a knee injury. Rusedski has some doubts over 2017 Australian Open runner-up Nadal’s chances at Melbourne Park.
